Unable to verify mobile number

Since setting up my network and account I've never been able to successfully verify my mobile number. When you open the app occasionally will get the alert to verify. I tap that alert nothing happens other then I can x to dismiss.
Going into profile I can see my number but I get a message saying to enter a valid mobile number. One time I was able to get Erro to send SMS my phone but the app would never move to the next screen to submit the numbers in the SMS just stayed on the screen to enter a valid mobile number.
My main device is on Android 11 but I've tried two difference devices to the same findings so I'm assuming it's an issue either with my number or my carrier.
My number is USA and in format +1xxxxxxxxxx. Current mobile carrier is Mint Mobile but a number that was originally transferred from Verizon.
Anybody else have any issues validating mobile numbers? Any suggestions to try?

I had this problem. Did you ever verify your phone number on your eero account?I believe that was the issue for me.
