Schedule allow/block site
Thank you for adding the ability to block sites! It is well worth the $3 mo subscription to eero secure for us. The kids need to be online for school on their chromebooks, but they were watching YouTube instead of their teacher. Now we just block YouTube on the chromebooks
What would make this feature better is if it were possible to schedule the block. Or, at least turn it on/off easily (like the pause/resume) feature.

Agreed! This feature would be excellent for those of us with kids at home. Being able to schedule when the kids can access certain sites would be super helpful.

This feature would be amazing. Not only would I use it for kids to make sure they are focusing on homework and what not, I would use it for myself to increase productivity.

Hear, hear! It seems like we have all just reached our limit of policing YouTube use when kids should be schooling. Scheduling and pausing specific site restrictions would be fantastic!

Agree to all above!
For the UI, I would expect it under [Profile] > Block & Allow Sites > Add a Blocked Site. In the Block Site popup, instead of just a single field for Domain, replicate the Add a Scheduled Pause > Add schedule form underneath.
But change it a bit at the top, so you don't have to fill in a Schedule Name-- instead, it's constructed for you out of the profile name and domain. I'm imagining something like:
Block Site
Domain: [ example.com ]
Schedule: My-profile example.com
Enable: [ on / off ]
Start time: [ ]
End time: [ ]
Frequency
Sunday etc.

Small update on this topic. This may be obvious to all, but wanted to mention my workaround. I've found that setting up a profile for the school day and then adding/removing computers to it is easier than adding/removing sites from the block list on the profile. I created a profile for the school day. So, I add the kids' computers to the "school day" profile in the morning and remove them after school is done.

I'd add to this the ability to schedule a relative time to revert the block or allow. For example, when my son asks me to allow youtube.com because a teacher has decided to use a YouTube video in class, I will currently add youtube.com to the allow list, which overrides youtube.com on the block list. I then need to remember to go back later and remove it. If I could instead specify a duration or expiration period such as "30 minutes" that would be very helpful.
Alternately, perhaps, a feature to temporarily "lift" a block for a limited time period would likely bring the same benefit. e.g. Have the user go to the block list, select the blocked site, and within the page for that site have an input to enter the duration or a specific clock time and a "Temporarily Revert" action.

I just want to add to this as well. My kids like to play games like Roblox. Right now we give them an hour, or a window of time. To be able to set a block or allow schedule for the app would be super helpful. This would prevent them from waking up early and trying to play, or trying to sneak some game time later in the evening, without me having to remember to reblock the app after they've been allowed time after homework.
Thanks
