IPv6 and ICMPv6

According to the web page http://ipv6-test.com/, my router (eero) is not handling ICMPv6 packets correctly. They should not just be rejected, they need to be received and acted on appropriately.

Has thought been given to this issue? Currently, according to the above page, the eero is out of compliance with ICMPv6 RFC's.

Or maybe I'm missing something? My home network shows as "Private" on my desktop, as it should.

Mike A I see at that link that IPv6 is supported, but ICMPv6 packets are being filtered instead of accepted.

MrDoh  For me it’s saying IPv6 is not supported, but IPv4 is and that is the Default. Score is only 3/20, yikes.

Mike A I'm sure you know that you have to turn IPv6 on? The setting is with "Network Settings" using the hamburger menu. As soon as I turned on IPv6 it started working, even though ICMPv6 isn't quite right *smile*.

MrDoh  Doh! Whoops, sorry, your right. It now shows IPv6 ‘Supported’, and once I set it as Default I now have a score of 19/20 :) The only thing I’m apparently lacking is ‘Get a reverse DNS record’ ?

Well, never mind, turns out that the problem was my diesktop PC firewall, not the eero.

    Sorry about that.
