Routine Reboots - Still a thing?
Laptops, Modems, Routers, Tablets, Phones...they've all benefited from the routine reboot.
In fact, I have a weekly reminder in todoist to restart all of mine.
While there's no option to do so in the app and no reset button on the devices, I'm left wondering if there is still value in restarting the eero squares (as I like to call them).
It means unplugging / plugging in the squares. At least until Eero includes restarts as an app option. But I'm game if there's still a benefit
Thoughts?

Hi shaunquirk —
Thanks for writing in and for your question. With eero, you shouldn't ever have to reboot your system. Totally up to you if you'd like to, but again, you shouldn't have to.
However, it may be helpful to keep your modem as part of that weekly reminder. While eero was designed to self-heal, the source of your internet wasn't, so it's sometimes necessary to give that device a reboot.
And, for what it's worth, your eero system will reboot itself after it receives a software update, so there is the occasional reboot thrown in the mix.
I hope this helps!
