New Eero with switch
I am having a problem with my internet in my house. I have an eero connected to a Netgear switch and everything plugged into it works fine. I have a line (from switch) plugged into my house wall connection and to another device in another room (from wall) and the unit gives me back a 10.1.2.3 ip address and I can't see it on my network. However, when I plug the wall line directly into the eero (bypassing the switch), everything works fine in obtaining an ip address. Are there to many connections in between the eero and device to get an ip address? I have tried everything I can think of to find the problem. Does anybody have any suggestions or ideas? Thanks.

Hi, J23 – Thanks so much for taking the time to reach out, and welcome to the Community Forums!
Based on your description, it sounds like there may be another device wired into the the network that's providing an alternative source of IP addresses through that switch. Please make sure to disconnect any other routers and ISP equipment from that switch, and make sure the eero is the sole router connected to the switch so that the eero is the only thing handing out IP addresses.
Past that, if you still need any assistance, please give us a call at 877-659-2347 or email support@eero.com with "Community" somewhere in the subject line and we'd be happy to help get this figured out with you!
Kindly,
Drew, eero Community Team
