This is a terrific idea!

I would love something like this as well. So far the profile settings options are very underwhelming. 

I was just about to add this request when I found your post. This is a great idea for when the kids friends come over. I don't want to demand to see their devices and change their DNS. I just set them up on the gust network and we are good to go.

I also am interested in this feature as it just seems a natural extension of the idea of profiles.  It's convenient I found this post before sending a message to support!   Having the option to point to different DNS servers based on which profile the device is in would definitely be awesome.  It definitely should be extended to the guest network as well since it would further facilitate creating a default "safe zone" for everyone (think families with kids and their friends constantly bringing different devices over).   Then less restricted access can be metered out on an "as needed" basis via the main network and/or profiles.   It may even be a great selling point and provide another differential feature from competing products. 

Along those lines, having the ability to create a profile that routes through a VPN would also be cool.   But again, DNS settings per profile would be really useful so I am glad to see this being discussed.

Agreed we need this; that's how I found this because I was researching to see if this was supported.  Sucks it's not.  If Eero wants us to use their gateway as the primary router they need to provide a bit more features (simple ones) like this.  Until then I have to use my router but then again with the limited option on the Wifi settings I'm still stuck because it's one for all setting even on the router as I can designate specific Wifi AP to use for different AP's like the guest wifi as an example. Would have been nice if the guest wifi could be configured to use a different DHCP so you could use that address pool to setup firewall rules.

I'm new to Eero, but how is it that features have been requested for years with zero action from Eero?  Other vendors have had these features for years!  Custom DNS profiles aligns perfectly with Eero's Family Profiles, especially with the Secure subscription, yet after 4 years there has been no progress here...  How does the Eero community get the attention of this company?
