HP 6970 printer won't connect to Eero network

Anybody have any advice? All help appreciated

  • Solved - I rebooted the printer and modem and hey ho off we go

  • Continuous issues with all my HP printers not working even though they show up as 'active' on the Eero network, solved by Eero support:

    Open the Eero app,

    Go to SETTINGS,

    then ADVANCED,

    pick RESERVATIONS AND PORT FORWARDING,

    click  ADD A RESERVATION... choose your printer, and save.  Note: mine had the 'save' option greyed out so I clicked on 'port forwarding' below and it said I had to save the reservation to continue, did I want to?  I said yes and it saved.  And now my printer works because it has its own reserved ip address when connecting and will never change.  Hooray!

      jennifer I just did what you said... I hope it works. Did you also have to go into your HP Printer wireless settings, Advanced Settings, then IP settings to set the IP address as permanent too?

      rv15 I did not, I now have two printers on the network and both have connected solidly since I added them to reservations.

  • IP address listed in the eero app is not valid. UGH

  • The printers finds the organization and I put in the pw yet no association.
