eero setup

I currently have an eero6 setup with a router and 2 extenders in my row home. the router is in the living room (middle floor) and the extenders are placed in the basement and 3rd floor office. my gaming setup is in the basement and i'd like to hardwire it... could I get a 2nd eero router for the basement to do so and have everything working together?

  • Yes, if you get another eero that has ethernet ports on it, you can remove the extender in the basement and put the new eero in its place. Then you'll be able to hardware your gaming equipment to the eero.

  • Nice and amazing post.

  • I think To get the most out of your eero WiFi system, we recommend having your eero WiFi system replace your current router and having your gateway eero plugged directly into your modem. However, if you'd like to keep using your existing router, you absolutely can. Dinar Recaps
