How do I re-use my existing subnet?

I'm replacing an existing router (192.168.1.x), but the Eero picked a different address entirely when it went through setup (192.168.4.x).

I'd like to use the same subnet so that devices can continue to work while their IP leases expire

  • Hey Scott! In the eero App under Settings > Advanced > DHCP & NAT, select Manual IP.

Select 192.168.0.0 under "IP address prefix"

Under "Lease range" use the following for each field:

    Subnet IP: 192.168.1.0
    Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
    Starting IP: 192.168.1.20
    Ending IP: 192.168.1.254

This will allow you to use the 192.168.1.x address range like you had on your previous router instead of our default range that starts at 192.168.4.x.
