Temporary enabling blocked content filters for kids profiles

What us parents really need is to enable temporary enabling of sites like YouTube on kids computers, particularly during school days. The problem is that some schools and their teachers use YouTube for a class. I’m a user of Eero Secure.

The solution- allow YouTube to work for 30-60 mins, then return it to the default disabled state!

We parents go in now and manually allow YouTube, then forget to re-apply the block. Then the kids realize they aren’t blocked and you find out a week later from the teacher that your kid has been all over YouTube during distance learning.

Please add a way, much like the iPhone allows “do not disturb” for an hour, to allow sites to work for a period of time and then return to a default setting.

  • I agree! The current Euro secure allows be to pause traffic to a device, but what I really want is to limit stuff during the school day, and then to allow it again at a certain time. It would also be great to be able to temporarily enable a site, as this user suggested. A great idea.
