Static IP change to Gateway eero from Dynamic

I have the option to change from my current dynamic IP to static IP for my eero pro gateway device.  everytime the ISP makes the change I am unable to manage my eero device to make the change and save it.  how can I make the change to my gateway device without rebuilding my entire network?

    Every time the ISP makes the change? That should be a one time only thing if they are giving you a static IP. 

    In regards to how to setup the static IP without having the rebuild the network, the way I would do it would be to first change it in the eero app to the static IP settings your ISP provides while your eero is still connected to the internet with the DHCP settings, and then tell the ISP to make the change. This way, your eero will be ready to go and come back online when the ISP makes the change.

       May want to have your ISP on the phone when you do this. I've heard the eero will make three attempts to connect to the Internet with the static IP address before defaulting back to DHCP.
