Red Eero status light - Wifi dropping
Fairly frequently, the Eero status light is going red and wifi is dead. I suspect that the Eero itself is fine, but I'm losing internet connection from the modem. I can't prove this though, and it is intermittent so is hard to track with my internet provider.
Are there log files that I can access that show when the status light is red, and why? It would help to troubleshoot the problem.
I’m not sure if that’s something eero support can provide you, but it’s certainly worth a shot reaching out to them.
Another thing you can do (which is what I do) is sign for a free account with uptimerobot.com and have it set to ping your public IP address (which would be pinging your modem). Then you’ll easily have data on when your internet connection is dropping.
