Transfer Apple Homekit items from Apple Timecapsule network to Eero Network

I just installed my Eero router and two Beacons.  I have my old Apple Time capsule plugged into the extra port of the Eero and that network is still in the house.  What is the best way to associate the various Apple Homekit items that are on the Time Capsule to the Eero network?

Thanks for reaching out and for your question.

Just to confirm, are your devices still connected to the Time Capsule that is plugged into your eero? If so, you will first need to disable the WiFi settings on your Time Capsule. For steps, please see this article: https://support.eero.com/hc/en-us/articles/208315013-Connecting-AirPort-Extreme-Time-Capsule-or-Airport-Express-to-your-eero-network

If you are using the same network name and password from your TIme Capsule network, the devices should connect to your eero network after the Time Capsule comes offline. If you are using a new network name and password, you will need to connect your HomeKit devices to the eero network via the network settings of each device.

    I hope this helps.

  • Thanks.  This suggestion worked great!  I disabled the network from the Time Capsule, plugged it into the second port of the Eero, and then plugged the Phillips Hue into one of the ports of the Time Capsule.
