implementation of IGMPv3 (Multicast) for IP TV

as the the eeros do not support IGMP  - this would be a good addition to a near perfect product after opening the market and include us in europe ;-)

many of the internet provider have an IP TV solution included which rely on a multicast stream - for example : Deutsche Telekom with their Magenta TV is not working with eero!

bridging the eero could be a solution , but honestly if this will be the solution i will go back to Netgear Orbi, which could easily enable IGMP via their webfront end - BUT i do not want to go back - so please take it into consideration ;-)

We also have this issue. YouView or Humax boxes supplied by BT use this protocol and it is effectively blocked by the EERO network.

I would point out that Plume already support IGMP on their MESH pods: https://support.plume.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360018612614-SuperPod-Device-Release-Notes It's been in their firmware since 6/20.

Without this support EERO devices cannot support Humax, BT and the other large brand set top boxes in the UK.

Virgin Media is about to start shipping Plume SuperPod products out to their customers. This may sadly start to divert people onto the alternative products and away from here. Sadly it isn't an issue that's known about widely until you plug in your EERO and find out your smart TV  set top box doesn't work!

I also need this very urgent!

Running the eeros in bridge mode is not a real option.

I also have MagentaTV from Deutsche Telekom and with eero in the network MagentaTV don't work. Only solution to use both is that eero support IGMP.

I was so happy with the Mesh from eero, all other staff was good, but without IGMP, I have to disconnected the eero and hopefully can sell them....

I hope so, it seems like a pretty core feature for Europe and an unnecessary limitation by todays standards.

Just made huge mistake and bought eero.  Reading this it's clear they have no interest in fixing the issue.   All boxes will be returned tomorrow.  Good news is thatI have a large LinkedIn following and will post what a debacle this.
