Wrong Gateway & DNS on some devices

Recently my Amazon devices (Fire TV & Fire tablet) kept complaining about there being no internet - they can connect to Wi-Fi, they used to be fine, other devices fine. On both I noticed the DNS & gateway were 192.168.10.1 (the IPs are in the 192.168.10.x range). However my eero pro gateway is 192.168.4.1. I changed the tablet to manual IP/DNS and it works fine. I can’t change these settings on the Fire TV. Not sure what to do. Why are Amazon devices getting wrong settings?

  • OK, up until now my iPhone hadn't had any problems, it was getting correct IP & DNS. Now it also is suffering the same issue with wrong gateway IP

  • After resetting Fire TV and giving it an IP reservation on the ewro it eventually got back online. I've now seen my second eero Pro is displaying a red light, even after reboot. What on earth is going on?

Madison745274 i had some success when I created a dhcp reservation in the eero for each item affected . I may have had to reboot things, sometimes repeatedly, but most things are back now
