OUTDOOR Extender

So before I got my Eero pro 6 with the extra 2 extenders initially had 2 different routers one for the inside of the house and the other was outside the reason is that I ran a CAT 7 wire to the outside for my apple tv and my tv under the porch so that I could use airplay on it without having to be close to the house, also so that if any of my family has their computers or phones or anything requiring wifi it wouldn't be a problem. this solution worked for a while before I decided to upgrade to my eero system. Now don't get me wrong the mesh network is very good it covers almost every square inch of my house but only the inside, not the outside. I do not like this I live on a farm so there's a lot of ground to cover, the outdoor router I am using now is very good, I bought it cheap on amazon along with some added features like 2.4hz and 5hz., up too 1000 ft of coverage, and POE which means that there's only one wire running those my lawn inside of two I like this router a lot and it almost covers the rest of the land the Eero doesn't. but I do not like to still have to switch between two networks. It would be great if Eero could make their own outdoor extender with a POE WAN/LAN port to get as much power as possible. to my understanding, Orbi has one of their own but I feel like if Eero had their own I would buy it in a heartbeat since I am in great need of one. My friends have also said that they would as well since their wifi doesn't reach very far in their property.

  • Suburban folks need this too since to be able to connect reliably to our HomeKit network so the Garage Door closes when tapping the button in CarPlay. The road in front of my house is just out of reach.
