I'm looking for the best way to integrate a Raspberry Pi into my EERO network. My idea is that sharing some functionality can reduce redundancy of services. Possible things to look at are EERO app connect for Raspberry Pi (Oven) acting as a screen emulator to control and administer the Home Assistant (HASS). If you consider an expansion port intended for a minimal server within the EERO environment you can see the possibilities for much more versatile and customizable home automation choices, surveillance security options, telephony, and even FortiNet functionality. If you already have the ability to run Raspbian from your existing hardware, a simple user supplied USB thumb drive will finish the config.
