Wired backhaul drama
Hello, I recently picked up an Eero Pro 6e mesh system. When I wired it up, I hard wired one of the nodes for ethernet backhaul, which seemed to work for the first day or so. Shortly after, the connection on that node started reading as wireless in the Eero app and the switches upstream began to seriously malfunction, dropping connections to the rest of my network. When I disconnect the ethernet from the node, everything works fine again.
My path to the node is as follows: 1g Spectrum cable into Arris surfboard modem —[1gbe]—> Eero 6e gateway —[2.5gbe]—> 10g unmanaged switch —[10gbe]—> 10g unmanaged switch —[2.5gbe]—> Eero 6e node
After googling around it seems like this is a common error with Eero systems going back several years, which makes me think I should just return the system and go with Orbi as I definitely want the wired backhaul that Eero claims to support. Does anyone here have any suggestions?

Hi objectgroup
That does not sound good. It looks like the topology is right, bad topology is the usual issue with these symptoms. If you have one I would change that eero at the end of the chain with a different one, see if the issue follows the eero, which would indicate there might be an issue with that particular eero. What are the make/model of these switches?
