33Please add an OpenVPN server
Add an OpenVPN server. This can be done on DDWRT and Tomato firmware. No need to make it fancy, just mimic what they do and label it as "advanced".
This would allow clients outside the network to securely access network services. It will also allow people like me to access Netflix overseas, and access live programming from Comcast. I'm sure they wouldn't like that, but screw them.
I can't believe this hasn't been requested already.

Fwiw a raspberry pi makes a fantastic OpenVPN server that was actually easier to setup (pivpn) than the Tomato router I was running previously (which is saying a lot cuz that was pretty easy too). It handles the missing DDNS functionality too.

Esp post the most recent senate/house vote, integrating with a real VPN service would be quite excellent.
