Guest VS Regular Network Status

I would like to know which network a device is connected to guest or regular.  This is for vulnerability and compliance tracking.  We have the eeros installed at a small non-profit and the regular network has a server attached to it.  I want to make sure when a device is added it is on the guest network.  The only way I can currently tell is by the IP address.

Thanks

  • Hi, DoubleM – Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback with us here! I'm happy to pass along your interest in this feature to more clearly indicate guest devices on the app. As you've mentioned as well, in the meantime you're able to check the IP address of any device to determine that it's correctly on the guest network. The only way a device would be able to join the main network is with the main network password, so a device that connects with the guest credentials only will never have access to the main network! Thanks so much for sharing your feedback, and welcome to the Community!

    Kindly,
    Drew, eero Community Team
