Feature Request: Port Forwarding Range
I would like to be able to port forward a range of ports. Right now they have to be input individualy. ie: In order to open port 1000 to 1100 it has to be input 100 times.
Thanks

Hi therealbyrnesie —
Thanks for reaching out.
Unfortunately, we are no longer able to provide this action on our end. We are continuing to look into other options, but for the time being, this can no longer be done via our admin. If there are specific ports you need to add, our team will be happy to help, or you can add them from within the eero application. You can read those steps here.
If this is a client device and the manufacturer suggests an entire range, it may be best to contact their support (or we can do a little digging ourselves) to find out what port tends to work best and start with those first.
This will continue to be a feature request as a consumer-facing advanced tool.

Port forwarding and setting up a DMZ would be fantastic. Honestly it would be to my preference that all ports were open on my Eero all the time, but I can't even configure that without manually inputting it one at a time.
Is there any way you guys could share the tool you used to have internally so that we could forward ports? -
I am requesting port forwarding ranges, too. It shouldn't be that hard to implement. Every router I have ever used for the last 15 years has had the feature, and I can't understand why a router that claims to be one of the most advanced on the market can't do it.
Can you please explain why this can't be done from a technical standpoint? Or tell us that you're going to do it? Thanks.

I do not see this feature on the sticky post in this section that lists all of the feature requests and their status. This is a huge oversight, as others have said many apps and devices use dynamic ports within sometimes large ranges. Having to manually enter each port in the range one at a time is tedious and error prone.

This continues to hamper the utility of Eero devices in the age of IoT, home automation and VoIP. So many things require specific ports and their reliability on Eero is abysmal without this feature available.
Was it a policy change that stopped support from being able to help? It seems like whatever method they were using to do this before should still exist, whether it was an API or direct access to a database (which I can see would be dangerous).
Please consider the relatively low engineering effort this would require to enable for us and how happy it would make everyone!

Trying real hard to ditch my ancient Apple router but the lack of ranges in port forwarding just might be a showstopper. Not what I would expect at all from an "ugrade" system that cost significantly more than the gear it is replacing.
If there is a way to vote to add this feature (a dash, really; we are voting for a dash to define port ranges) then consider this a +1.

Surprised at how happy I have been with eero since purchasing. Reliable, easy to use and not Google. So I decided to be patient about the lack of ability to port forward a range of ports. Figured it was just because it was newer tech and really didn't want to try another brand mesh wifi-network. Alas, too much time has passed and eero support will not add for users. Shocking as imahawkia indicated that a $400 router can't port forward a range.
This seems like something that eero techs should be able to deploy in an update, but the fact that it hasn't been done leads me to believe that it is not able to be done via update because of the way the source, programming, or firmware code was written. Unless someone eero can tell me differently, I have no choice but to ditch eero. Eero, you owe those of us who purchased your crippled product a straight forward answer with a reasonable time frame. Is it possible, will it be done, when or are you just jerking us around?
Such a shame.
