Using eero and airport devices simultaneously

Thanks for reaching out! You should be perfectly fine, just make sure you have different SSID's for your eero network and the Airport one.

Also, for best results, make sure the Airport and eero aren’t sharing the same channel, as that could degrade performance on one or both of the devices.
