How do I reset my DNS

I decided to try using the new 1.1.1.1 DNS that touts frearer security and speed. This required me to manually input my DNS, modifying the DNS defined by the eero network. I’d like to reset it back to the eero DNS. Do I just remove the ones I manually entered or do I have to re-enter the DNS provided by eero? If the latter, does anyone know how I can get that?

eero doesn’t provide DNS servers, but you can reset to your ISP’s default DNS servers from inside the app:

Network Settings > Advanced Settings > DNS > choose “ISP DNS (Default)”

Out of curiousity, why are you wanting to change away from Cloudflare’s DNS servers? Typically, your ISP DNS servers are slower than these big name DNS providers. If CloudFlare wasn’t working well for you, I’d recommend using OpenDNS (208.67.220.220 & 208.67.222.222)

Thanks. haven't seen the promised speed, but will try using OpenDNS to see if that works better for me. Thanks.

mrleeinsf Just to clarify and make sure we’re both on the same page, when you say “speed” you’re referring to website lookup speed, and *not* download speed, page loading, streaming, etc., right?
