Can’t hookup camera

I have an Amcrest camera that can only support 2.4 gh this will not hook up to my eero system.  Can anyone help

  • I have several Amcrest UltraHD 2K (3MP/2304TVL)'s and they connect fine.  What issue are you having?

      txgunlover the eero system works as a mesh between 2.4 & 5 ghz. The amcrest will only work on a 2.4. So it refuses to connect to my wireless or even directly through lan. It worked fine through my previous netgear router but will not hookup to eero system

  • Hi, ScottS, thanks for taking the time to share your experience, and welcome to the eero Community! 

    Although the eero doesn't offer a setting to isolate the 2.4GHz signal, a device that requires 2.4-only shouldn't have any trouble connecting to the eero network. However, there may be some workarounds needed to connect certain devices to the network, especially if they require setup via an app. 

    If you can provide a little more information about the specific error you're seeing when setting up the cameras, myself and the Community would be happy to offer some additional guidance!   • I just got the Eero Pro 6. My Amcrest cameras do work with it but for some reason, they don't show up under the Eero app on my iPhone. Anyone having similar issue?

      M3Ace No.  I want my devices to choose what band they use and out of my 130+ devices I have a few that won't connect if WPA3 is on.

  • I turned mine off for now and rebooted the Eero's. Still nothing stating AMC anywhere. :(
